The bay

Correction before coating
Every swirl shows under the hex tubes
A coating locks in whatever is under it. So the paint is wet sanded and polished in stages until the reflection runs clean, and only then does the ceramic go on.

Usually, yes. A ceramic coating bonds to the paint as it is, so any swirls, holograms or wash marring underneath get locked in under a glossy layer. We look at the paint under direct light first and tell you whether it needs a polish, a full correction or nothing at all before the coating goes on.
