A walk through the bay on 49th Street North
Exceptional Detailing works out of Unit 14 at 14605 49th Street North in Clearwater, FL. The quickest way to meet the shop is to walk it in order: the roll-up door, the hex tubes on the ceiling and the back wall, the shield plaque, then out to the trailer and the van that carry the work to your driveway.
“At Exceptional Detailing, we offer professional auto detailing services tailored to preserve and enhance your vehicle’s appearance. Our team specializes in ceramic coating, wet sanding, and exterior finishes to ensure a flawless shine.”
Door to van, in order
Six stops, inside the unit first and then out to the lot. Everything below is what is actually there.
01
The roll-up door
A blue roll-up door opens onto the bay, with a walk-in door beside it and the shop banner carrying the number, (727) 235-4379. Drop-off customers come in here. One of them, Brandy Somm, wrote:
“Thank you Chris, for fitting me in on there busy schedule and got it done for a wash and wax detailing! They did an Awesome job!”
02
The ceiling
A honeycomb of white hex tubes runs across the ceiling. Light arriving from that many angles at once is what shows a swirl, a hologram or a high spot, so the paint is read here before a polisher touches it. How paint correction works.
03
The back wall
The tubes continue down the back wall, over the black block wall where the hose reel hangs and an orange shop-vac waits. Wash water, vacuum and light all sit within a few steps of whatever is on the floor.
04
The shield plaque
On the hex-lit wall hangs the shop’s mark: a blue shield with a script E, the same one on the banner, the trailer and the van. Below it a grey Jeep Wrangler sits on the bay floor with the grid of tubes reflected across its freshly polished hood.
05
The trailer
Out the door, the white trailer wears a vinyl wrap with the shield emblem and its own list: Full Detailing, Interior & Exterior, Clay Bar & Wax, Paint Correction, Certified Ceramic Coating Installer. It carries the equipment to customers in Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa. Mobile and drop-off detailing.
06
The van
The white van is lettered Ceramic Coatings. Customers mention Chris and Aiden by name in their reviews. Here is kevin riley:
“Chris and Aiden just completed 2 paint correction and ceramic coating jobs for me on separate specialty cars. The cars look phenomenal.”
